All the Art of Living...

"All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on."
-Henry Ellis

I have had to let go of a lot over the past few months, and will have to let go of even more in the months to come.

However, it has been the awful process of letting go that has truly defined for me what is most important to keep hold of....my faith, my family, my friends.

Have you ever heard the "Letting Go" prayer? I used it a lot!

Dear Lord,I've made a decision to trust You with my circumstances. I hand all control to You. I know that all things work together for the good of those who love you. Therefore, I'm willing to live through this difficulty, in Your strength and in Your power. I thank You that these very circumstances, which I've found difficult to bear, are being used by You for miracles beyond imagination. I give You my worry, regardless of how things look, feel, or seem. You decide the outcome. Thank You that this is now Your problem to do with what you will. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

And with that said, prayed, and my heart surrendered . . .
I'm "letting go."
